Black Sumatras originated in Sumatra, Indonesia and are one of the oldest breeds in America. Imported into the United States in 1847, they were admitted into the American Standard of Perfection in 1883. They are regarded
as a highly decorative fowl celebrated for their radiant greenish-black plumage and long flowing tail. They have little or no wattles, and males have a cluster of spurs on their legs. * Available Straight Run Only.
