Bourbon Red Turkeys are truly beautiful birds. Chestnut
red plumage against white tail and wing feathers give a
striking appearance to these heritage turkeys. Ansestors
to the the Bourbon Red where first developed in Pennsylvania
from Jersey Buff turkeys. These birds where
later refined in Kentucky to become the birds we know
today. Light colored pinfeathers mean these birds dress
as cleanly as white varieties.
