This is a really great addition to any loft. The wood box has a plastic coated wire floor to help keep the birds clean along with a removable wood drawer which allows you to remove the accumulated droppings.
The unit may be used as a regular nest box to mate your birds or for the racing homer folks, a widowhood box.
Divided in the middle with a sliding partition, 2 of wood so the birds can not see each other, or a wire partition so that they can see each other while separated. If you want to mate a pair, you put one on each side and keep them separated with the wire divider, after a week, you slide the partition and allow the pair to get together.
br>The two front doors, which are doweled, lift up and slide in to the top of the box which allows you to use it as a nest box.
