Special. Variety is the spice of life and you’ll enjoy
watching your various duck breeds grow and develop
with their own unique personalities. Our Duck Special may consist of, but is not limited to: Mallard Ducks Khaki Campbell Ducks Fawn & White Runner Ducks Pekin Ducks Blue Swedish Ducks Although we strive to offer the best assortment possible, the selection is always based on availability at the time the order is placed. Our Duck Special is less expensive than purchasing specific breed ducks and typically ships at a much earlier date. *Ducklings are sold Straight Run Only During the two weeks prior to easter (March 10-19), all natural colored ducks will be $1.10 HIGHER than the regularly quoted prices. Ducks have a tendency to dehydrate during shipping. We recommend the following upon arrival: (1)Provide an abundance of fresh sugar water in shallow water founts, with the water no more than 1/2 inch deep. (2)After about 10-15 minutes, when all the ducklings have had an opportunity to drink, remove all of the water. (3)After 10-15 minutes, without water, return the water and repeat this process 1 or 2 more times and do not let them ever run out of water. Our experience has shown that this process reduces the incidence of water logging, which is the main cause of early duckling mortality. |
