Our knitted nets are made from interlocking strands of black polypropylene and are UV treated for an extended field life of 7 to 10 years. Light to medium weights are typically used in parts of the country that have moderate weather conditions. Heavy weight netting is recommended in areas with heavy snow and ice. Our knotted nets are made of twisted and knotted black polyethylene that will not run. UV treated for an extended life of 7 to 10 years. Knotted netting has less wind load than knitted netting and has less surface area for water to adhere, making it a good choice for areas with extreme ice and snow conditions. Our heavy knotted netting has a 75 lb. breaking strength. Extra heavy knotted netting with a 115 lb. breaking strength is also available upon request.
